The real difference is the money path. HoneyBook processes your client payments and charges 2.7% + 10¢ per card transaction; Zepixo connects your own Stripe account and takes nothing. HoneyBook is the broader product, with scheduling, lead forms and contracts. Zepixo is narrower, cheaper, and free for ten seats.
Bonsai prices per user; Zepixo prices per workspace. For one freelancer the two are close. For a five-person studio, Bonsai Essentials is about $95 a month billed annually, where Zepixo is $9.90 with ten seats included. Bonsai is the stronger product for tracking time and expenses.
Dubsado's cheaper Starter plan does not include proposals, scheduling or workflows — those need Premier at $525 a year. Zepixo includes proposals and invoices on its free plan. Dubsado is the stronger tool if you want elaborate automated workflows and questionnaires; Zepixo is faster to set up and costs less.
